Towards Low-Latency Object Detection on Board Reactive Search-and-Rescue Drones
We introduce LoLa-YOLO, a lightweight and low-latency object detection model for search-and-rescue UAVs. It adapts YOLOv3-tiny for FPGA deployment with both event and RGB cameras, aiming to reduce latency to under 10 ms.
